Friday, October 16th – Wire launches it’s new Record Label!

On October 16, 2015 Wire will take the next step in its evolution when we launch Wire Recorders, our record label. We are excited to announce the first three artists on the label: Pipes, Everybody Says Yes, and Terry White. These acts are all unique and bring something different to the table, but all fit the mold for Wire Recorders – extraordinary talent that is born out of, and fosters, the burgeoning music scene on Chicago’s West Side, and beyond. We will highlight acts that take their craft seriously and are willing to not only promote their own music, but musical involvement in the community on all levels. Wire Recorders has produced three EPs that we are very proud of, and all will be available at the launch. Please come join us to celebrate this new chapter in the growth of the music scene in Berwyn, the West Side, and all of Chicago!

In the near future, Wire Recorders will be accepting submissions from new artists for our next launch.  We are not currently accepting submissions.  In the meantime, if you have interest in being a part of it, please fill out the form below and we will keep you up to date on all the things that are happening: new artist material, new releases, schedules, and instructions on how to get your music to us!

Meet the Artists:

Everybody Says Yes

Everybody Says Yes

Everybody Says Yes is a 6 piece soul band from Chicago, IL. The incredible vocal stylings of Meghan Murphy paired with John Fournier's original songwriting create a sound that is at once familiar and yet inspiring. With influences ranging from Dusty Springfield to Otis Redding to Van Morrison, ESY is an irresistable musical force.
Terry White

Terry White

Terry began his musical journey in 1973 with a guitar and a Bob Dylan song book. Since then he's played in numerous bands at any number of houses, schools, dives, road-houses, clubs and theaters. His drive, determination, and dedication to the local music community is undeniable and some reasons we're elated to have him on Wire Recorders.
Pipes

Pipes

In 2015 Pipes was asked to join Wire Recorders, a new record label from
Chris Neville and Jon Smith (Co-Owners
of WIRE) who want to bring their music community to greater heights. With this came the release of their first full band album "Those Ramblings on the Wall," a four song EP that would demonstrate the breadth of musical stylings that Tomblin, Walker, Shepherd and Krayniak
could offer.
